HI, great article.

How could I use the BODY to pass form inputs instead of XML? I need to authenticate first also to access some admin methods so does it keep any sessions/cookies?

Thanks,

Peter.

RESTClient does not have issues with POST or PUT. Can you verify if you have given the correct content-type (application/xml) and charset (UTF-8)?

How come the post doesn't seem to work????
Whenever I post the correct xml to the correct url, it just keep creating blank entries in the database. The server doesn't seem to get the body of the request?

btw, I'm not using this version of RESTClient(instead, I'm using the latest), is it possible that the latest version have some problem with sending request body to the server?

I've tested it on several different RESTful web services, none of them works with POST and PUT!

Any suggestions?

Solved the problem - I was on a back version of the Aptana Studio (the beta version) and once I upgraded all went as described. I did have to do a gem install mongrel and a gem update --system to make the clean install of Aptana work.
